KAY SMALL (née WRIGHT)

Kay Small (née Wright), of Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Orville Small (1987) and companion of the late Murray MacPherson. Dear mother of Andrew Small of Kincardine and Laurel Small of Wingham. Missed by her grandsons, Andrew, Devin and Miller; and great-grandson, Oliver. Survived by her sisters, Donna Riddick of London, Judy (Eric) MacLeod of Kincardine and Alayne Evans of Kincardine; sisters-in-law, Mary Small of Kincardine and Ellie Small of Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Simeon and Vesta Wright (née Porterfield); brother, Doug (Elsie) Wright; brothers-in-law, Doug (Mary) Small, Dave (Janis) Small and Glen Small, and Ernie Evans; and sisters-in-law, Janis and Katherine Small. A graveside service to celebrate Kay’s life will take place at the Kincardine Cemetery, Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating. A reception will be held after the service, at the Kincardine Baptist Church, 569 Queen Street, Kincardine. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society – Wheels of Hope, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy; Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, entrusted with arrangements.
