Born July 23, 1926 in West Wawanosh Township, he was the son of the late Vera (Alton) and Victor Errington. Dear father of Penny Snobelen of Goderich, Nancy and John Hamilton of Lucknow, Donna and Rick Robson of Kincardine, and David and Laurie Errington of Auburn. His love for the outdoors led him to 25 years with the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority as a director. His greatest hope during those 25 years was to preserve our resources for his grandchildren. He was a lifelong, and valued member of Dungannon United Church, and will be remembered for his kind, friendly nature. Visitation will be held at MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, Friday Feb. 23, 2018, from Noon until the time of the funeral at 2 p.m., with Pastor Brian Hymers officiating.
