MARION JEANNETTE LOWRY (née MacTAVISH)

Marion Jeannette Lowry (née MacTavish) of Huron Township, died peacefully, Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Perrin Lowry. Loving mother of Robert (Judy) Lowry of Kincardine, Brian (Val) Lowry, and Debbie (Dave) Gillies of Waterloo, and Kevin (Vinciane) Lowry of Mannheim. Cherished grandmother of Wade, Brad, Megan, Jenna, Chad, Josh, Zack, Matt, Cameron, and Owen. Missed by her siblings, Jim (Marj) MacTavish of Kincardine, and Margaret (Claire) Thuell of Innisfil; sister-in-law, Evylene MacTavish of Ripley; and brother-in-law, Eugene Walden of Alliston. Lovingly remembered by the Lowry family. Predeceased by her siblings, Allan MacTavish and Evelyn Walden. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Marion was a life member of the Reid's Corners Women's Institute. She belonged to the Pine River United Church Women (UCW), was a member of the church choir for many years, and was a 4-H leader. Most importantly, she was a wife, mother and grandmother; her family and friends meant the world to her. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, from 2-4 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held at the Pine River United Church, Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at 11 a.m. Final resting place, Pine River United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Pine River United Church, Kincardine hospital, or charity of your choice, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
