Mary Anne Thompson (née McKenzie) of Kincardine, died with family by her side, Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, in her 62nd year. Cherished wife of Tom Thompson of Kincardine. Loving mother of Travis Thompson (Dani Hilborn) of Kincardine, Diane Thompson of St. Catharines, Kenny Thompson (Tiffany Goulding) of Kincardine, and Trevor Thompson of Kincardine. Beloved grandmother of Zora, Katie and Lily. Dear sister of Terry Salmon of Paisley , Eric (Laura) McKenzie of Port Dover, Ken (Cathy) McKenzie of Wingham, Cathy (Al) Fischer of Mildmay, Rob (Kim) McKenzie of Walkerton, Cheryl Stangen of Walkerton. Fondly remembered by her mother-in-law, Eleanor Thompson of Kincardine; brothers-in-law, Gord (Judy) Thompson of Kincardine and Allan (Roula) Thompson of Goderich; and sister-in-law, Nancy (Stuart) Alexander of Glammis. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents, John and Marjorie McKenzie; sister-in-law, Sharon McKenzie; and father-in-law, Ron Thompson. Visitation will take place Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, from 5-9 p.m., at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine. The funeral will be held in the chapel at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Chang officiating. A reception will follow, at the Kincardine Pavilion. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Parkinson’s Society of Canada, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
