TROY SNOBELEN

Troy Snobelen of Huron-Kinloss Township, died suddenly Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at the age of 43, as the result of a snowmobile accident. Loved and greatly missed by his three children, Cole, Eve and Carter; and their mother, Amy Snobelen. Also loved and cherished by Belinda Bowman; and his parents, Judy Snobelen and Mike (Anita) Snobelen, all of Huron Kinloss. Brother of Tanya (Larry) Leppington and Sam (Wanda) Snobelen; and uncle of Brooke, Annie and Kate Leppington. Also survived by his grandmother, Joyce Farrell; special friend, Greg Lowry; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his grandparents, Stewart Farrell, and Sam and Margaret Snobelen, and Albert Middlekamp. There will be a private family funeral. To also honour Troy’s life, a casual Come-and-Go Celebration, open to the public, will be held at the Lucknow Community Centre, Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, from 1-5 p.m. Troy was a wonderful father and his children meant the world to him. He spent hours coaching their hockey teams, watching their games, and working with them on the farm. Owner of the family grain elevator business, Snobelen Farms Ltd., he was highly-respected in the community and will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Interment, Ripley Cemetery.
