William “Bill” Ritchie of Kincardine, died peacefully with family by his side, at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton, Friday, May 10, 2019, in his 81st year. Cherished husband of Joan Ritchie (née Pollock) of Kincardine. Loving father of Scott (Vivette) Ritchie of Milton, Rob (Jane) Ritchie of South Elgin, Illinois, and Daniel Ritchie of Hamilton. Missed by his grandchildren, Kyla, Emma, Ben and Matt. Dear brother of Glenna (Jack) Feir of Pennsylvania, and Drew (Gayle) Ritchie of Victoria British Columbia. Also missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A retired Hydro worker, Bill was a long-time member of Kincardine United Church, a hard-working volunteer and a strong supporter of his community. Visitation will be held at Kincardine United Church, Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from Noon to 1 p.m., with the funeral to follow at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huron Shores Hospice or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
