John Teskey died suddenly at his home, July 30, 2020, at the age of 82. Beloved husband and best friend of Lynne (nee Campbell) for 53 years. John played life like he played hockey, and was a winner in both. He served seven years in the military, four of which were spent in Germany with the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada. John loved farm life and was always excited to see a new crop of calves, and the barns filled with fresh hay and straw. He will be missed by his wife, Lynne; his sons, Mark (Jenn) of Newbrooke, Alberta, Stephen of Pembroke, Ontario; and daughter, Jena (Mark) Winterburn of Kilworth, Ontario. Loving grandfather of Daryl, Melanie, Keira, Maddy, River and Ruby; and great-grandfather of Olivia and Ariana. Also survived by his sister, Anne (Murray) Batte of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary (Manners) Teskey. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at the Kincardine Cemetery.
