South Bruce OPP report incidents of intimate partner violence

(KINCARDINE, ON) - Oct. 3, the South Bruce OPP responded to an address in the Municipality of Kincardine and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.

As a result of the investigation, a 46-year-old resident of Toronto has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
 
  • Break and Enter
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking - five counts

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton at a later date. 
 

(SOUTH BRUCE, ON) - Oct. 2, the South Bruce OPP responded to an address in the Municipality of South Bruce and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.

As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old from the Municipality of Kincardine has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
 
  • Sexual Assault
  • Uttering Threats
  • Fail to Comply with Release Order - five counts

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton at a later date. 
 

(HURON-KINLOSS TWP, ON) - Oct. 1, the South Bruce OPP responded to an address in the Township of Huron-Kinloss and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.

As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old resident of Huron-Kinloss Township has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
 
  • Spousal Assault - two counts
  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Uttering Threats

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton at a later date. 

The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victims.
