Kincardine Legion Corner

March 21, 2024

Congratulations to Lori Haelzle who won $3,157 in the Catch the Ace draw. She chose Envelope No. 17 which contained the Nine of Hearts. If she had caught the Ace of Spades, she would have won $60,542.50! Next week’s jackpot is estimated to be $66,000!

Jamie White won $185 in our 50/50 draw at the Saturday Meat Draw, and there were no double-dippers.

The Irish Cowboys were a big hit and so was the food. The Mudmen are up next, April 6. The last I saw, the tickets were almost sold-out so call the Legion Club Room Bar, at 519-396-3837, and get yours before they’re gone!

The Legion was busy giving back to the community this week. The Kincardine Sunset Quilters Guild received a cheque for $1,000 and the Kincardine Special Olympics received a cheque for $5,000. Nothing makes us feel better than giving back to our community.
